Kitchen Renovation Services
Queens Home is a kitchen renovation and remodeling contractor working in Toronto, across the GTA, and throughout Ontario’s cottage country. We manage the whole project — design and layout, cabinetry, plumbing and electrical, flooring and finishing — so one team stays accountable from the first drawing to the final handover. Whether you’re updating a dated kitchen, changing the layout, or building fully custom, the work is planned, permitted and scheduled before demolition starts.

How much does a kitchen renovation in Toronto cost?
A kitchen renovation in Toronto runs to ~$200,000 or more for a luxury custom kitchen, lands around ~$40,000 to ~$80,000 for a mid-range full renovation, and starts at roughly ~$5,000 for a cosmetic refresh. Where a project lands depends on whether the layout moves, how much plumbing and electrical has to be relocated, and the grade of cabinetry and stone specified. The ranges below are approximate and quoted before HST.
| Scope | Typical range (before HST) | Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Luxury custom | ~$110,000 – $200,000+ | ~4–8 weeks |
| Full layout reconfiguration | ~$75,000 – $130,000 | ~2–4 weeks |
| Mid-range full renovation | ~$40,000 – $80,000 | ~1–2 weeks |
| Cosmetic refresh | ~$5,000 – $20,000 | ~2 days – 1 week |
Every range here is a starting point, not a quote. Queens Home prices a kitchen after an on-site visit, because the two things that move a budget most — the condition behind the existing walls, and whether the layout can change without touching structure — cannot be judged from photographs. Book a free on-site consultation and you get a written scope before anything is booked.
What does a kitchen remodel in Toronto include?
A full kitchen remodel covers design and layout, permits where structure or plumbing changes, demolition, plumbing and electrical rough-in, cabinetry, countertop templating and installation, backsplash and flooring, then paint and final finishing. Queens Home coordinates every trade under one point of contact, so the schedule holds and no stage waits on an unbooked subcontractor.
Two stages set the timeline. Permits are required whenever a remodel moves plumbing or removes a load-bearing wall — Queens Home files these with the City of Toronto or the local municipality and manages the inspections. Countertop templating cannot begin until the cabinets are set and level, which is why a mid-range remodel usually needs ~1–2 weeks on site while a full layout change needs ~2–4. Range-hood ventilation is not optional either: the Ontario Building Code sets the exhaust requirement for a kitchen, and it is checked at inspection.
What types of homes do you work in?
Queens Home works in houses, custom homes and villas, and commercial properties. We do not take on condominium or apartment kitchens, and we do not work in high-rise towers. If your kitchen is in a house or a business, it is in scope. If it is in a condo unit, we will tell you before a site visit is booked rather than waste your time.
The same scope applies to the rest of our work — bathroom renovation, full home remodeling, and the wider list of services. Clients often run a kitchen and bathroom renovation on one schedule, which usually costs less than two separate projects because the trades and the permit work overlap.
Which areas do you serve?
Queens Home serves Toronto and the surrounding GTA — including Vaughan, Mississauga, Markham and Richmond Hill — as well as Collingwood, the Blue Mountains, Wasaga Beach, Barrie and Innisfil in cottage country. The company is licensed and insured, and works from two Ontario locations.
Distance does not change the process. A Toronto kitchen and a Georgian Bay kitchen are quoted the same way: an on-site assessment first, a written scope second, then a schedule with fixed stages.
Do you do kitchen renovations in Collingwood, ON?
Yes. Queens Home renovates kitchens throughout Collingwood, the Blue Mountains, Wasaga Beach, Barrie, Innisfil and the surrounding Simcoe and Grey County communities, as well as across the GTA. The work covers cabinetry and millwork, layout changes that move or remove walls, plumbing and electrical relocation, and full rebuilds down to the studs. Two things matter more in cottage country than in a city kitchen. Older Georgian Bay homes and converted cottages often have undersized electrical service and non-standard framing, so the scope has to be confirmed on site before a fixed price means anything. And any layout change that moves plumbing or removes a load-bearing wall needs a permit from the local municipality, which Queens Home files and manages in-house.
